Drive in Bingo – Caring for CARA

Our weekly Drive In Bingo continues this Saturday night at 8pm. The Jackpot currently stands at €2500 with a prize fund of €1350 been given away every night. We look forward to seeing you all and hearing the beeping of horns which highlights another winner. An added bonus is our 50/50 draw on the night with a varying prize fund available. Thank you to all those who attended last weekends Bingo which was in aid of Caring for Cara and seen a 4 figure sum been donated to this very worthy cause.

50/50 Draw

Congrats to Dwyane Rooney who was the winner of our 50/50 jackpot draw of €190. Entries are now open via the club Facebook and Twitter pages for the next draw on Monday November 29th . A number of options to enter are available with it starting at €5. 50% of what is taken in will be given back out as the prize while the remainder will go towards the day to day running and continued development of the club. All support is appreciated.

Annie Cusack Memorial Shield

What a team we have on our hands with the U13’s. They accepted a late invitation last week to face Aghabog in the Annie Cusack memorial shield under lights on Saturday night in Aghabog and duly won it. This was a game that had everything from wonderful skill, great scores, battling performances and a late comeback from the visitors to take the win. A massive thank you to the Cusack Family and the Aghabog club for the invitation and well done to both teams for a very sporting and entertaining encounter. Thanks also to the coaches of both teams and in particular our won management team of Cormac Mc Fadden and Stephen Lynch who were ably assisted by Sharon Fox on first aid duty. That finishes up the year for this group one in which they claimed the Division 4 league, the Division 3 championship, the Terence Reilly memorial shield and the Annie Cusack memorial shield. Congratulations on an incredible year.

Annual General meeting

Our annual general meeting was held in St Marys Hall last Friday night and we thank the club and committee members who were in attendance and wish the best of luck to the incoming committee for 2022. It was also announced on the night that the New Rockcorry GAA App will be available in the coming week offering all members the opportunity to keep up to date with club affairs.
