It was a very successful event and we have a lot of people to thank especially the McGuigan family who supported us in so many ways in order to run this event in memory of such a great “Vintage” man.

We would like to thank all the stewards and helpers who supervised the route and the car park on the day. Thanks to all the ladies who helped out with Registration and Refreshments. Very much appreciated.

We had a large volume of supporters on our vintage vehicle run and we are very grateful to all the ladies and gents who worked tirelessly to ensure we had a successful event.

We hosted our Presentation night on Wednesday 17th November 2021 in Aughnamullen GAA centre. We were overwhelmed by the turnout. Thanks to Sally McAviney, Ann Keenan and Bernie Duffy who represented Ballybay Cancer Society, and thanks also to the McGuigan family who attended on the night as well as many others. Thanks to all who supplied and served refreshments. A special word of thanks to Aughnamullen GAA club for the use of the facilities and supporting us on the night. We are very grateful. We were delighted to present Ballybay Cancer Society with a cheque for €8,000. What a great achievement in memory of such a special man “Kevin McGuigan”. We are assured this money will go a long way to help Ballybay Cancer Society with all the work they do.

Finally, a word of thanks to all the Vintage Club men and women who work tirelessly to ensure all our events are a success. There are many hours needed to plan such a successful event and they volunteer their time and help every time it is required. We are so grateful to all the members. Until the next event
