Our Seniors will play Killevan in round 4 of the championship at home on Saturday at 2pm.
Our reserve team travelled to Truagh on Sunday last in the semi-final of the reserve championship where we came away victorious with score line of 0-12 to 0-6. This was another great team performance by the lads who now deservedly are in a final.
The game started very evenly with both teams going in to the first water break level at 3 points each. We pushed on then with some good play to lead at half time 0-7 to 0-4.
Going in to the second water break we still led by a margin of two points at score line of 0-8 to 0-6.
The last quarter saw the lads put in an excellent performance as a team with great play under very wet conditions with three quick points coming from play. We were awarded a free which was converted to give a winning margin of six points.
We will play Toome in the final. Venue adn dates to be confirmed at a later stage.
So well done to the team, subs & management and we look forward to a final.
It was great to see so many supporters travel to cheer on the lads.

It was with deep regret that we learned of the sudden death of Martin McCaul. We would like to sympathise with the McCaul family who have a long association with the Currin club. Martin was such a valued part of our community and will be missed by all. Go ndeana Dia trochaire ar a ainm dilis.
