Our senior team play Middletown Na Fianna in the Armagh League in Middletown tonight Tues at 7.15pm. Come out and support the lads. All fixtures and results are available on the club’s website www.castleblayneyhurling.gaa.ie

U-7’s and U-9’s have their 5th and final Monaghan Go Games Blitz this Sunday morning hosted by Carrickmacross Hurling Club.

The U-13 team have commenced their Monaghan League campaign, gaining three wins so far against Monaghan Harps, Clontibret & Inniskeen.

The U-15 team have a bye this week, following their victory against St. Macartan’s last Wednesday. They are awaiting news of their refixed Tain Og final against Burt.

The U-17 team had a successful Tain Og fixture away to Sean Treacy’s last Friday and play Naomh Pòl at home in Concra on Wednesday 1st at 7pm. The management are very pleased with the continued effort and enthusiasm shown by the juveniles and their families who travel to the fixtures, supporting respectfully the efforts of all players on the pitches.

Sympathy the club would like to extend our sympathies to Shaun McCabe and his family on the death of his brother, Peter McCabe Birmingham. Ar Dheis De go raibh a anam.

‘Catch up with..’ series saw us chat to one of our past players, Hugh Cullen who retired twice from the game!!! A big thank you to all the players past and present who have taken the time to participate.
