Health and Wellbeing

As the country opens up is encouraging to see more people out and about, (while still keeping pandemic safety in mind), whether its for a walk around Kilmore, training, looking forward to a summer of football and safely meeting people outdoors again and raising their emotional wellbeing. Scotstown GAA is going for the Healthy Club project which aims to help GAA clubs explore how they support the holistic health of their members and the communities they serve. This is a timely initiative for a post Covid-19 world and we look forward to the Healthy Club project in our future and recovery from the pandemic.

Phone a Ceili

It is an encouraging development that people from one household only can visit another household. But for those who are still nervous of physical visits given the ongoing Pandemic, we can still make contact with those we care about and / or are cocooning, living alone or vulnerable. They would really appreciate a phone call, letter or card just to say “I’m thinking about you, keep safe and stay strong.” So please, Phone a Ceili, write a Letter, send a Card and keep in touch over the winter months and we are always here to help in anyway. We ask

all our committee members and players to phone a ceili twice a week. If you would like a committee member or player to phone you, please contact our Chairman Shane on 086 836 7997.

Tidy Towns

Our beautiful villages in the parish will be judged soon for the Tidy Towns competition. Please ensure that all areas outside your premises and dwellings are litter free and clear of all weeds. Thank you.
