Return to training.
What a delight it was to see and hear the return of underage training to the club grounds over the past week. A massive thank you to the coaches, Covid Officers and parents for making this possible. Obviously there is a lot more background work and checking to be done now to ensure all return to play protocol is been adhered to and all involved have partaken in this, to ensure a safe return. It was great to see all the players return back to their different age groups, and to especially welcome our new players particularly at the U5/U7 age group. Details on the different training groups are forwarded via the Club messaging service as well as a reminder of the Covid 19 guidelines and return to play questionnaire. On the competitive front a provisional start date from the 7th of June has been proposed for the return of games for underage teams.
A reminder folks to return monies/tickets this week for the National draw. They can be returned to any committee member or to Coyles shop for the attention of the Rockcorry GAA club. Thank you for your support. All monies raised will return to the club.
A big thank you to the Sean Rooney and the ground staff for the works that have been carried out on the field over the past 12 months. The return of the underage teams last week was the first proper work out that the newly developed field had got in over a year, and by all accounts everyone was delighted with the surface. A number of investments have been made to ensure the upkeep of the field and we look forward to the return of the first competitive game in the next few weeks.
Online registration is still available with the details been forwarded via the the club messaging service. Anyone interested or wishing to become a member or register can contact a committee member who will be happy to assist.
