National Draw

The club once again this year are taking part in the National GAA draw with some fabulous prizes up for grabs. Tickets are €10 each and we would appreciate if all club members would support this fundraising effort as all monies raised will go back into the running of the club. Tickets have been circulated among the members, while they are also available from any committee member.

Return to training.

The latest update from the Covid restrictions brought the good news, that underage training can resume from April 26th. While it is great to see the return back to our playing fields, strict guidelines will be place similar to before as to how training will take place. Details on the return of the different age groups will be forwarded via the club messaging service.

Grounds Closed.

Just a reminder that the club grounds, gym and facilities remain closed for the present time, until April the 26th at the earliest. This is in line with the current guidelines from the Association. With development work having been commenced prior to the initial lockdown, the field is now available to us once more, and will welcome back the underage teams from April the 26th.

The ”Rocky” road to Croker.

Wow what a response by our U11’s to our “Rocky” road to Croker Challenge. No doubt the favourable weather during the Easter break was a major help as the miles and Km’s rolled in from the panel and the virtual walk to Croke Park was completed in a matter of days, with time even taken to take in a few laps of the hallowed turf. The return trip is now underway and it is great to see the miles/kms continue to roll in, with the walk to school for many contributing to the journey.

Membership

Club membership is now been taken and in line with the current Covid 19 guidelines, it has been moved to an online registration. A link has been forwarded to committee members and players via the club messaging service. Anyone interested or wishing to become a member or register can contact a committee member who will be happy to assist.
