Aughnamullen GAA Club Notes
Lotto: Our largest Lotto jackpot of €11,500 was held on Sunday night and the numbers were 4,20,27,28 and yes it has finally gone to one of our young members of our Senior Football team Kieran Marron. Congratulations is extended to Kieran.
The Lotto will return on the 4th January with the Jackpot starting back at €5000. The Results from Sunday night were as follows

On behalf of the club we would like to thank all those who supported the lotto this year. First of all our brilliant young sellers who sold envelopes throughout the parish this year. In this year of the Covid crisis we are indebted to the parents of these young people who drove and sold envelopes on the clubs behalf. To all our parishioners who purchased envelopes week after week thank you very much. To anyone who took up the option of buying online thank you very much. To the people who ran the lotto every Sunday night who made sure everything went according to plan on the Sunday nights.
Social Centre: The Social Centre remains open at present however this may change according to new Government restrictions due to be announced in the coming days. As Bookings are essential please reserve a table with Bar Manager Mary Duffy on 0872043187.
Sympathy: Sympathy is extended to Maura Duffy & Family Baraghy on the death of Maura’s brother Packie Boyle Lacken may god have mercy on his soul.  To the family of the late Patsy Mc Connon who died recently. Patsy was the video man for the club for many a year and indeed he and his late wife Rose supported our Social Centre on many an occasion may god have mercy on his soul. To Charlie Murtagh on the death of his mother in law Ann Finnegan Corduff may god have mercy on her soul.
Congratulations: Congratulations to a number of people who celebrated significant birthdays recently
 To the one and only Noel Callan Tullynamalroe who recently celebrated his 70th Birthday, also to Noel’s nephew Ronan Markey Creeve who celebrated his 40th Birthday recently. Congratulations is extended to Noel Farrell Lisduff who celebrated his 40th Birthday this week and to Clayton Wilson Lisduff who celebrated his 30th Birthday this week as well. Congratulation is extended to all.
Happy Christmas: As these are the last club notes before Christmas we would like to wish all our club members, supporters, all our players from Senior to nursery, Team Managers from Senior to Nursery, Ladies Players and Management and Committee Members a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New year and we all hope everyone stays safe and take care of themselves.
