Lotto: The Lotto was held on Sunday night last the numbers drawn were 9,18, 21 & 28. Next weeks jackpot is €11,100. This is the largest jackpot the club has ever had and in these challenging times we are asking as many people as possible to sign up by either joining online using our smartlotto app at

or you can purchase an envelopes from any of our young sellers around the parish. So if you know of anyone who wishes to join please let them know as it is the main source of income the club has each year.

Covid 19 Upadate: Due to the Government decision to move Ireland to Level 3 of Government Recovery plan, Club Bars which serve food can reopen from this weekend. In this case our Social Centre will reopen this Saturday evening the 5th December from 5pm. As part of this patrons must order a substantial meal and this order must be booked in advance by contacting Mary on 0872043187 where your booking will be reserved. In this regard it is great that our social centre can reopen again and we hope that all our supporters who have served us well in the past will do so again.
Annual General Meeting: The Annual General Meeting was held virtually on Friday night last. This is indeed was a historical event and many thanks to all those who went online to view. Due to Vodafone provider not being in service on Friday evening many of our members were unable to view the AGM and apologies for this but it was something which was out of the Clubs Control.  Anyway onto the meeting the Club officers reports were read out i.e. Secretary Report by Ann Blanche which detailed all club affairs of 2020 the financial Report was excellently  prepared  by treasurer Debbie Mc Ardle.
 The Chairmans Address
Paddy Markey  thanked all those helped out during the year. He congratulated all the successful teams of 2020 from juvenile success at U13, U15 & U17 with the Senior team winning the Junior championship being the highlight led by Gabriel Bannigan and his management team.
 He thanked all those who assisted the club in anway in particular to John & Bernie Sheridan our club sponsors and also to Michael Ward( Australia) who sponsored the construction of new turnstiles. Also to Development Officer Seamus Conlon & Groundsman Ian Johnston in having fields well maintained throughout the year
He thanked all those who helped out with fundraising this year i.e. Lotto, Poker and also anyone who helped out with the delivery of hampers to the elderly during the first lockdown.
He also wished Former Chef in our Social Centre  Ollie Morrissey a happy retirement and thanked New chef Peadar Lynch for all his work this year and also Mary Duffy & staff in the centre.
He also thanked his Club officers ie. Secretary Ann, Treasurer Debbie and Pro Brian Mc Ardle and congratulated Brian on his nomination as the Clubs Volunteer of the year an award well deserved. He also thanked Youth Officer Paddy Murtagh & Childrens Officer Linda Garrivan who both have stood down from their respective positions for all their help through 2020.
He sympathised with all those who suffered bereavement during the year but in particular 2 men who went to their eternal reward in 2020 i.e. Former Committee member and Groundsman Kevin Mc Guigan and great supporter Sean Mc Gahey Creeve He congratulated all those who married, got engaged or became parents during the year.

A number of other Executive positions are to be filled and these will be done as soon as possible.
Ladies AGM: The Ladies AGM was held on Sunday last where outgoing Chairperson Linda Hamilton and Treasurer Catriona Hamilton stood down. On behalf of the ladies committee they would like to thank Linda & Catriona for all their help. Yvonne Lennon has been appointed new chairperson with Laura Quinn as Treasurer. A meeting will take place in the new year for anyone looking to get involved with the committee or with any of the teams.
