Corduff Gaels Club Notes:
Corduff Gaels Lotto Is Back!
It’s back! Club Lotto resumes this Sunday 5th July! We don’t need to remind people that life as we knew it changed on 12th March 2020 due to Covid-19! One of many club activities to be suspended due to Covid was the highly successful weekly club Lotto with the last draw held on Sunday 8th March. The Lotto has been the main source of income for many , many years and no weekly Lotto means there has been no weekly income for the club since March. With that in mind the Lotto is set to make a return this Sunday 5th July. However due to Covid restrictions the Lotto is going online for the very first time in the history of the club. From now on you can do the Lotto from the comfort of you home, anywhere in the world and we encourage you to support it. The online provider is Club Force and the link to join the Lotto is available on Corduff GAA across all social media platforms. Options remain the same, 1 line for €2 and 3 lines for €5. The Draw itself will be live streamed on Facebook with a handsome jackpot of €8,800 so go online and buy your lotto because if you’re not in you can’t win!

Club Championship 2020:
On Monday night for the 2nd time in 2020 Monaghan GAA’s CCC held a Championship Draw. The Championship Draw was an open draw with 10 teams in each tier, Junior,Intermediate and Senior. This year’s Championship shall be formed as a combination of league and knockout basis. It shall begin in the Group stage on a basis of 2 groups of 5 teams at each level. Each team in a group will play the other team once. Group League results shall be credited as follows: 2 points for a win and one for a draw with all Round 5 games played at the same time. Following the League stage the knockout rounds begin leading to promotion and relegation for some teams.
Of course Corduff eyes were all on the Intermediate Championship draw as players, management and supporters awaited the club’s fate. Corduff were drawn in Group 1 along with Currin,Éire Óg, Cremartin and Blackhill. On the other side of the draw in Group 2 are Killanny, Emyvale,Tyholland,Monaghan Harps and Doohamlet.
