Latton GAA Club Club Notes – Week Beginning 11th may 2020

Run4Pieta

As a Club we became part of this great initative last weekend . From 7.30pm on Friday 8th May to 7.30 on Saturday 9th May we had 41 groups includinf Families & individulas complete a 24 Maraton for Pieta . We managed to cover 806km over the 24 Hours and also raised a brilliant total of 1,715 for this brilliant charity. Thanks to all who got involved and tothose who donated.

Meals distribution

This continued last week with the last 3 weeks seeing the Club distribute over 240 meals to vulnerable persons within our community. We thank Kerry Foodservice who in conjunction with Monaghan GAA facilitates this initative, We have teamed up with Latton Social Services and Fingers and Toes Community Childcare in order to provide freezer storage and a distribution hub These meals are aimed at persons lining alone with no access to meals .For details please contact …Alice on 087-7457493.

Our Frontline Heroes
