Kick Pass For PPE

There has been a wonderful response to our Kick Pass for PPE with a number of videos available to view on our Social media pages.

All funds raised will be donated to local Health Care Facilities in order to purchase much needed Personal Protective Equipment.

There are 3 steps to taking part:

1: Make a short 3 or 4 second video on your phone of you or your Family passing a football to each other. The ball must enter the video from your right hand side as you look at the camera, be passed on to other members of your family if so and be kicked out of the video to your left.

2: Videos can then be emailed to Sean at smcnova@hotmail.com. or send them via WhatsApp to Sharon on 086 6022919 or Facebook messenger. 3: Make a donation, small or big, via the following Go Fund Me link: gf.me/u/xxtqcu You can also leave your donation in Coyles Filling Station or with any member of our club committee.

Once we have all the video clips in they will be edited together and our Kick Pass for PPE will be premiered on the Rockcorry GAA Facebook page for all to see.

Let’s get our green & white on and start passing that ball!

It’s Good to Talk

Monaghan GAA in conjunction with The Monaghan Age Friendly programme have launched the “It’s Good to Talk” initiative .

The programme will identity people who would like to have a chat with a player or member of the management team about the GAA and will send their number to a player who will give them a quick call at their convenience. A chat about all things GAA will lift the spirits of someone who is finding this time challenging and lonely.

We invite our Club members to nominate an elderly family member be it a father / mother /brother / sister/ grandfather / grandmother to receive a call from a player or management. Contact Mary McEneaney Assistant PRO Monaghan GAA on 0876887332 or pro.corduff.monaghan@gaa.ie to set up the call to celebrate a birthday , an anniversary or just to have a good GAA chat . Don’t hesitate to get in touch
