Latton GAA Club Club Notes – Week Beginning 24th March 2020.
A Message from the Committee of Latton GAA Club
Where we find ourselves currently is an unprecedented and worrying position in all aspects
of our lives . However we have to deal as best we can in order that we come through this
trying and worrying time .We would like to let you know that our walking track remains
open at present . We are doing as much as possible to ensure that this will remain the case .
We ask all to abide by the following so that we can keep the track open
-Enter the track from the gate in the Car Park where the Signs are located. All other Gates
are being locked.
-We have placed a pack of disinfectant wipes on the fence – Can the 1st entrant in the
morning please wipe down the gate handle before entry and dispose of wipe in bin provided
, and leave the Gate OPEN please . The gate should not be closed by anyone during the day
so there is no need to sanitise the handle as it is not being used during day.
– Can the last person out at night (10pm) sanitise the handle with a wipe and close the Gate
-Please Abide by the Social distancing rules laid out by HSE (attached to this post)
-We ask that you do not walk in Groups at this time please .
-Toilets are provided with hand washing facilities
We believe that it is vital for the community that the track remains open as it give all a
chance to continue to exercise and maintain a small bit of normality in life .We need to look
after each other as much as possible and our Strong community Bond will be needed more
that ever in the weeks and months ahead. Stay Safe
