Emmet Handball! For handball supporters Corduff was the venue to be when before a full house Emmets Oran Kiernan and Kieran Brennan of Corduff served up an epic Junior Ulster final after three outstanding games. The Emmets man came out on top on a scoreline of 13-21 21-14 and 21-10in what was a great night for handball. Both players gave the crowd plenty to cheer and the game had everything that was good in this local contest. Oran now meets a Munster opponent in the All-Ireland semi-final. Commiserations to Frank Duffy who was beaten in the Monaghan Junior final by a Monaghan Harps opponent and to John and Ronan Kiernan were beaten in the Ulster Junior Doubles by Antrim rival.
