Monaghan GAA

Monaghan produced an impressive display against Dublin in the 3rd round of the Allianz Football League. The game ended in a draw, but Monaghan were extremely unlucky to not come away with 2 points. We led by 1:9 to 0:3 at the end of the first half. Monaghan certainly out-thought and out-played Dublin in the opening half. Dublin came back at Monaghan and scored a staggering 1:12 in total in the second half of the game. Dublin then got an equalising point in the tenth minute of added time to snatch a draw. Monaghan will face Mayo in Clones at 2pm on Sunday 23rd of February.

Offical Opening of the Currin Stand

The official opening of the stand will take place on Saturday 2nd of May. Afternoon entertainment including juvenile and senior matches will take place followed by light refreshments. We will end our celebration by dancing the night away to the one and only Eamon Jackson in our Community Centre. Please note change of date.

Jim Conlon R. I.P

Currin GFC would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the Conlon family. Jim was a long time club member and his son, Derek played for Currin. Go ndeana Dia trochaire ar a ainm dili
