Corduff GAA Handball Club Notes 

 Juvenile Training

Juvenile training continues to grow strong with over forty juveniles training in five groups from 8-16 years old on Wednesday’s and Friday’s at 7-9 pm. Parents will be informed of their child’s group or any changes to times by text message each week. Juvenile membership is €10 and €2 per training session.

Group League

Our group league is into its eighth week with 72 players from beginner to senior levels taking part. Players from Corduff, Bawn, Carrickmacross and Kingscourt handball clubs will take part in over 30 games weekly until the end of March at Corduff and Bawn Handball alleys.

Monaghan County Championship

Best of luck to all our members competing in the County Championships.

-Senior semi-final James Gavaghan v Conor O Gorman/Gavin Coyle on Saturday 7th March.

-Novice B final David McGardle v Johnaton McKenna on Mon 24th of February in Carrickmacross at 8pm.

-U21 final Jamie King v Karl McMeel (fixture to be arranged)

Ulster GAA Handball Adult Championship

•Junior B – Ciarán Brennan in the final against Oran Kiernan(CMX) on Wednesday 26th February at 7pm in Corduff.

•Junior A Doubles – James Gavaghan & Micky Duffy(Bawn) in the semi-final on Sun 15th Mar 10 am in Kingscourt Handball Club

•Junior B Doubles –  Ciarán Brennan & Shane McNally in the quarter-final on Sun 1st Mar 10 am in Kingscourt Handball Club

•O35 B  Doubles – Aidan Marron & Frank Duffy(CMX) in the final on Sun 29th Mar in Kingscourt Handball Club

Ulster GAA Handball Juvenile Championship 

Congratulations to Girls U15 Doubles Fiona Corrigan & Fiona Flood who were runner up in the Ulster final at Breacach Handball Club on Sunday.

4-Wall Irish Adult Nationals 2020

Great result from our members competing in the Nationals last weekend in Mayo with James and Ciarán coming home as National Champions. Amazing achievement for the lads.
