Latton GAA Club Club Notes – Week Beginning 9th December 2019.
2019 “Operation Transform Latton ” We have reached week 6. Well done for all who too part in the various classes and events . another great success . We are concluding with a 5K on Saturday at 10am – All are welcome and refreshments will be served afterwards along with a Free Raffle for Christmas Prizes.
A Goal Mile is being organised for the 4th year in a row by Dermot & Christina Weldon and take place at Club Grounds on Thursday 26th December AT 11am. This has been a lovely opportunity to get out and stretch the legs and contribute to a worthy cause. Refreshments are provided.
Latton Lights up for Operation Transformation 2020
We will be completing Lights UP ON Mondays & Fridays commencing on 6th January 2020.
Charity Football Match
The 27th December 2019 is shaping up to be a day not to be missed in Latton . The day kicks off at 1.30 with a match between the Current Teams with the U23’s playing the over 23’s. This will be followed by an exhibition match by our Juveniles with the Final Afterwards where the winners of Match 1 Play Hughie Mc’s Legends team. Refreshments will be available.
The winning team will be Presented at our Annual Christmas Party Night that evening commencing at 9.00am with music by Simon Boyle . A great way to end a day of Football & Fun – See you all there on the 27th.
All proceeds from the day re being donated to Ballybay Cancer Society.
Our AGM takes place tonight 12th December in Club Rooms at 7.30pm.
We send best wishes to Francis Ward who stepped down as County Secretary after a term of 3 years at the Helm last week . Francis you will be a hard act to follow.
