Lotto:  There was no winner of last week’s Jackpot Prize of €1000.  The numbers drawn were 11, 19, 23 and 26.  There were 3 Match 3 Winners – Frank Daly, Killybrone, Jimmy and Ann McKenna, Corryarabeg, and Michelle O’Donoghue, Tydavnet.  Sellers’ Prizes:  Weekly – Rock Inn, Yearly – Eilish Treanor.  Next week’s Jackpot Prize €1200.  The lotto draw takes place at 10.30pm sharp every Sunday Night, any lottos received after the draw takes place will be deferred until the following week’s draw.  Lotto can now be done online – go to truagh.club to see details.

Scor na nOg:  Congratulations to our Instrumental Group who won the County Title last weekend in Tyholland.  They will go on to represent Monaghan in the Ulster Semi-Final.  Hard Luck to our Novelty Act who performed brilliantly on the night.

St Mellans Handball:  Juvenile County Championships. The juvenile county championships kick of this weekend where the boys U12’s, U13’s & U14’s are taking place, St.Mellans are hosting the U12’s, Tydavnet are hosting the U13’s and The Harps are running off the U14’s, in the U12’s we have Ryan Kelly, Conor Kelly, Ciaran Treanor, Conor Treanor, Ordhan Mc Meel and Myles Mc Meel, in the U13’s we have Daithi Mc Meel, Patrick Mohan, Luke Mc Kenna and Donnacha Mc Cluskey, in the U14’s we have just the one player in Oisin Hagan, good luck to all taking part and for those taking part in these tournaments for the first time go out and enjoy the experience, good luck boys, more fixtures to follow for the rest of the boys age groups and all the girls sections in the coming weekends.
Juvenile Credit Union League. The second week of the Juvenile Credit Union League is on again this Thursday, we are going to play all games on a Thursday evening for a few weeks to see is it ok, if it is too busy we might have to arrange games for Saturday evenings, but for a few weeks it will be Thursdays only!!!!.
Juvenile Coaching. Coaching is to continue as per set ups already arranged, keep an eye on “WhatsApp” and on all social media, we would also encourage the new beginners to come down in their spare time and get use to the alley and practise.
Mono League. The Mono League is running pretty smoothly so far, we have had a few injuries in the early stages of the league so make sure a sub is in place, NB if a sub is needed on the night they must be given at least 24 hours notice of the game!!!!!.
Handball Equipment. Can parents ensure all juveniles come with their goggles to training, these are a vital safety part of your gear, the club shop is open from 7:30pm til 8:30pm on Thursdays for all your handball equipment.
Membership. Can all outstanding membership be paid up ASAP as games are now starting and we want all paid to cover for insurance, 40 Euro per playing member, students 20 Euro, non-playing members and juveniles are 10 Euro.
