Seniors: The seniors were in dominant form on Saturday evening in Cremartin where they defeated the home side 2-10 to 2-19. Donaghmoyne raced in to an early lead with Goals from Cormac O’Connor and David Garland along with points from Garland, O’Connor, Ronan McDonald, Darren McElroy, Fergal Keenan and Stephen Finnegan. The home side narrowed the gap briefly but the Fontenoys were too strong finishing off with nine points too spare. We return to Championship action this Sunday when we face Emyvale in Drumhowan at 4.00. Please come along and support the lads.
U17s: The U17s had a convincing win over Magheracloone in their second group game of the Championship. After a slow start the Fontenoys started to take control of the game scoring 2-16 while limiting Magheracloone to 3 points Final score 2-16 to 0-3. Well done lads. Quarter finals will be played next Tuesday 10th details to follow.
U15s: The U15s have a championship semifinal on Thursday evening at 6-30 in Monaghan against Tyholland please come along and support the lads.
U13s: The U13s have a champioship game in Doohamlet on Sunday Morning at 12-30 against Truagh.
All Ireland Tickets: Any Club member who wishes to have a chance to buy a ticket for the All Ireland Replay should submit their name to Club Secretary Brendan Rooney (087-7619697) before Monday evening.
Conor McSkeane Memorial Tournament: The annual Conor McSkeane tournament will take place on Saturday September 14th. This year there will be teams at U7, U9 and U11 age groups. The tournament will also see the new pitch used for the first time so please come along and support this important club event. Further details to follow next week.
Walking Track Official Opening: The official opening of the new walking track will take place on Sunday September 22nd at 3.00. Please come along to the official opening of the first stage of this important club development which is already proving to be a very popular facility. Refreshments will be served more details to follow next week.
