22nd of August
Well what can one say, local derbies always produce and the fare in Drumhowan did not disappoint with history been made between ourselves and Aghabog as penalties was required to decide the outcome in the round 1B encounter on Saturday evening. With the result on the day protocol in place, it ensured both clubs were involved in a little bit of history making in the county. Although Rockcorry won out 4 – 2 from the placed kicks, it is well documented by now that an issue in regards to one of the penalty takers arose after the game was completed. Details of the game along with the officials report are currently with the CCC with no outcome available at the time of printing.
