Minors: The minors had a very good match against Latton on Thursday past in tough and hot conditions. Each team gave a mighty performance. Great team work was displayed by all the Truagh girls. Latton secured the win in the end. Next minor match is away to Killanny on Friday the 2nd of August. Training on Wednesday at 7pm.
Senior: Senior training on Wednesday evening at 8pm and via WhatsApp.
Senior preliminary championship game away to Latton this Sunday. Throw up at 2pm.

Hurling:  Senior Championship Hurling returned to St. Mellans last Thursday against Carrickmacross. Despite creating the most chances a deflected goal just before half time left the home side leading by just 1pt at half time.
In the second half we picked up the pace and with the forward line linking up well and the defense holding firm Truagh opened up a 7pt lead with 5 minutes left on the clock. A close range free which was dispatched to the roof of the net brought Carrick back to within 4pts but the home side saw it out to record our first win of the campaign in our new jerseys.
In an all round steady performance the man of the match was Niall Myers with 4pts from play ably assisted by Dylan Mc Aree, Dan Tobin, Matthew Flood, Conor Boyle, Conor Mc Kenna, Eamonn Sheehan and Pearse Mc Kenna.
Next up in the Championship is Inniskeen away at 8pm in Inniskeen Thursday night so let’s get out in numbers and support the lads
