Lotto:  There was no winner of last week’s Jackpot Prize of €3300.  The numbers drawn were 6, 10, 13 and 24.  There were 6 Match 3 Winners – Declan McKenna, Market House Lane,, Gerard McKenna, Killyleck, Patsy McKenna, Dundian, John Kelly, Coraclare, Martin Fields, Emyvale, and Handball Club.  Sellers’ Prizes: Weekly – Scarna, Yearly – Yvonne Treanor.  Next week’s Jackpot Prize €3400. Ladies:  Played Aughnamullen on Monday past but unfortunately were beaten in a scoreline of 5 07 to 2 11.

Seniors: A third game in seven days was to take its toll on our senior ladies against Aughnamullen away last Thursday. Truagh, started off brightly with some good displays of football. Aughamullen soon turned the game to their advantage with  some quick scores to hold the reins on the game. Once again Truagh kept going to the final whistle,  but were well defeated by their hosts. Training resumes Monday’s and Wednesday’s at 7pm.

Monaghan Gaa:  With the Cul Camps just around the corner Monaghan Gaa are looking to recruit new and also previous coaches who have worked on the camps for 2019. Healthy Club Initiative:  Attention all Junior Certificate, Leaving Certificate and College Students. Gaeil Triúcha CLG Healthy Club Team are organising a Talk On Dealing With Exam Stress for all Exam Students on Monday 13th May @ 8pm in St. Mellans Complex.
The talk will be hosted by Sport Clinical Psychologist Dr Paul Gaffney and David Kearney from the Irish Ladies’ Golf Union on how best to deal with the challenges facing families.
Learning from High Performance and applying it to every day lives in regular families.  Dealing with Diet, Rest, Conflict, Making Sure there’s balance, Stress Management Techniques, Goal Setting with a definite Sporting Theme.
This is a FREE Event and an open invitation to all students and Parents/Guardians from all schools & Colleges.  Everyone Welcome.

A big thanks to everyone who helped make our ‘Truagh Community Festival’ such a success last Sunday.  The day was started with a Coffee Morning.  After the Car Treasure Hunt was over our fun activities started on our playing pitches.  Our young stars of the future showed their skills with the sliotar and the ball.  Some old time sportsday  classics were revisited with the egg and spoon and sack races.
Then some more old time classics were rolled out when our over 35’s took to the playing pitches.  Also a massive thanks to Anna Rose and Clare and their team of helpers who kept the barbecue going all day.  Thanks also to Pauline for her commitment to making the day such a success.

Juveniles:  Nursery group and U7 training on tonight Thursday from 7-8pm,  Please ensure to sign your child in. Take gum-shields, It’s is important that the children get used to wearing them.  Everyone welcome.
U9 training continues on a  Thursday from 7-8pm in St Mellans.
U11 training: Monday & Wednesday nights 7-8pm.
U13 training: Monday & Wednesday nights 7-8:15pm. Division 6 v Castleblayney in St Mellans on Saturday 11th at 11.00am.
U15 training: Monday & Wednesday nights 7-8:15pm . Division 4 v St Marys Na Mullai in St Mellans tonight at 6.15pm
U17 training continues Tuesday & Thursdays.
