Under 16’s: Played Emyvale Monday past but unfortunately lost in a scoreline of 4 -10 to 3 – 3. Game was sponsored by COYLE COMPLETE LTD.
Seniors: Last Thursday played our nearest neighbours Emyvale. It started out as an eventful and entertaining game watched by a large crowd. The teams were evenly matched at the start with Emyvale eventually taking control midway through the first leading well into the break. Changes to the Truagh team for the second half , saw a spirited comeback. Despite out scoring their opponent’s, the deficit was always difficult to claw back. Game was kindly sponsored by MULLAN LIGHTING.
Seniors were in action again on Sunday. Unfortunately , another defeat. This time to Emmet Óg. It was a big ask of the Truagh Ladies after  a few days between their games and player fatigue was also a factor. Emmet Óg ran out worthy winners in the end. Game sponsored by CONNOLLY ORGANIC EGGS.
Training resumes on Tuesday at 7pm , with an away game to Aughamullen in the Reserve league on 4th May at 7pm.
Finally a big CONGRATULATIONS to our player Megan McCarron who got engaged to Leo Mc Kenna.  Best of luck to you both.
