Harps Handball Notes
First Polish Born All Ireland Winner
A bit of history was made last weekend when Konrad Kowal, representing Monaghan, became the first Polish born player to win a GAA Handball All-Ireland Title.

Born in Rzeszow, and raised in a small village called Nowosielec, Konrad made the move to Ireland in 2004.

On Saturday evening he teamed up with Eoghan McGinnity to win the Minor 4-Wall Doubles title.

The only other non Irish born player to win an All-Ireland title was another player representing Monaghan, Ramunas Ramuskas, who won the U17 Singles title in 2013.

4 Wall Junior Nationals
After the qualifier games in the 2019 4-Wall Irish Junior Nationals, we now look forward to the finals weekend which starts on Saturday 11th May in Tyrone, North Monaghan and Armagh venues. A hectic weekend lies ahead with Ireland’s top juveniles on show across TEN venues, where many stars will shine.

Full draws for the Girls and Boys grades have just been released with Plate Fixtures now updated.

Multiple family members first fixtures times are different and venues if not together are at least as close as possible in nearly all cases. Games after the first round must be played as per the schedule – no exceptions.
