Our senior men were out last Saturday against Donaghmoyne in the first round of the league. After a great first half display and going in six points ahead at half time the game looked like it was over but Donaghmoyne drew breath and clawed back the lead for the game to end Magheracloone 0-12 Donaghmoyne 2-06. Next up is Cremartin away on Sunday at 3pm, all support welcome.

It can only be described as an absolutely outstanding performance last Saturday afternoon by our U13 squad in the U14 Division 3 semi-final against Corduff.
The game was played at a lightening pace and the girls were committed from the very beginning, age nor experience were never an obstacle. The game ended in a draw at the final whistle and so extra time was required. Again our young squad gave it their all and once again the match ended all square. To respect the new rules from Fixtures, the match must then go to a free kick competition involving 5 players from each side and furthermore and it then goes to ‘sudden death’ until the team is deemed the winner!! Corduff edged it by a single point. Full time score: 1:13 to 3:6
We are exceptionally proud of our young squad, who are all U13 and many of whom will tog out later in the year with our U12 team.
Best wishes to Corduff in the final next week.
