Ballybay Pearse Brothers Notes
Ballybay 0-14 Latton 1-04

It was a measured and composed performance under difficult weather conditions from Ballybay as they ran out worthy winners over near neighbours Latton in this league game on Saturday evening. Both sides took a while to get going as the wind impacted on the game with Latton opening the scoring in the 7th minute. Good fielding from Thomas O’Neill and direct running from Aaron Toner allowed the Pearse Brothers to gain the momentum in the game and they went in leading at halftime at 0-05 to 0-01. Christopher Mc Guinness and Thomas Kerr showed great form in the second half and took some composed scores to increase the pressure on Latton who nabbed a late consolation goal, but Ballybay were too far ahead by that stage and went on to close out the game and finish on a scoreline of 0-14 to 1-04.  Thanks to Match Sponsors on the day: Anne & Katrina Mc Skean, Frankie Wright – Lilliput Adventure Centre, Roger Hanratty Barber, Gleeson Hackney Services, Caraher Family Ballybay.
