Hard luck to our Leiriu Act who were unsuccessful in their attempt to land another Ulster Title in the Senior Scor Finals last weekend in Galbally.  Well done and congratulations to the group on reaching that stage of the competition and for their hard graft over the last few months.

St. Mellans Handball:  RMS All Ireland Final. Michael Mc Carron played his Ruby Master Singles All Ireland Final in Kingscourt last Friday evening, there Michael met old rival John Rossiter from Co.Carlow, going in Michael knew what we going to be met with and John didn’t disappoint as he delivered his trade mark serve into both bottom corners, the first game got away from Michael at lightening speed and before he knew what hit him it was over 21-0, but Michael settled and came back into it and rattled John a few times and was withstanding John’s power but again John got into a rhythm and won the 2nd game and the title 21-11, after watching a lot of games over the weekend I think Michael probably met the best and most consistent server of the ball over the whole weekend, it was an art in its self to see it, but not nice to be on the receiving end, hard luck Michael but more than a valiant effort.
Congratulations. A big congratulations to Eoghan Mc Ginnity from the Harps as he made history by being the first Monaghan winner of the Minor title, it was a real ding-dong battle between him and Mark Rodgers of Clare, he was more than a worthy winner, well done Eoghan from all in the club, “Up the Farney”, hard luck to Devidas Kaklauskas who lost his U17 All Ireland Finals on Sunday but a great achievement to reach the final Devidas.
Emyvale Credit Union Juvenile Team League. The Juvenile team league had to be postponed again but hopefully it will be sorted next week, all shall be messaged about the time.
Adult Club Doubles. The Coalisland Doubles Competition has almost reached a final stage as Kevin Treanor & Michael Mc Carron have to play Chrissy Mc Kenna(D) & Darrin O Reilly to see who will play Christopher Mc Kenna(PJ) & Joe Kelly in the final, the Scarna Inn competition have still a few games to finalise yet, we hope to have played within the next week.
