Lotto:  There was no winner of last week’s Jackpot Prize of €6100.  The numbers drawn were 8, 21, 26 and 28.  There was 1 Match 3 Winner – Faust Lavery, Mullan.  Sellers’ Prizes: Weekly – Michael Flood, Yearly – Club.  Next week’s Jackpot Prize €6200.   The lotto draw takes place at 10.30pm sharp every Sunday Night, any lottos received after the draw takes place will be deferred until the following week’s draw.  Lotto can now be done online – go to truagh.club to see details.

Healthy Clubs:  Our Healthy Club Team have been busy over the last few weeks organising a programme of activities for all of the community to get more active in the new year.  Starting this week, there is something for everyone:
Saturday 12th January: Operation Transformation Nationwide Walk will take place in St. Mellans at 11am, registration from 10am.
Monday 21st January: Gaeil Triucha in association with Monaghan Sports Partnership present a 6 week Community Transformation programme, with fun fitness activities planned for most evenings during the week.   Cost €30.  (Please note that registration for the 6 week programme will take place this Saturday 12/1/19  at the walk or on Monday 14/1/19 from 7-9pm)
Thursday 17th January: ‘Ireland Lights Up’ returns to St. Mellans.

St. Mellans Handball:  Failte Aras. We would like to welcome all back to the 2nd half of the handballing season, as the new year begins we are now entering the business end of things in the handball season, the adult county championships are on and also the Adult Ulster Championships will soon begin, all this will coincide with the Ulster Juvenile Championships so we are asking all winners in all grades and anyone that have entered the Ulster race to get in as much practice from now until their games, juvenile games and coaching will be on as usual but we ask parents to encourage their young ones to get in as much as they can, all fixtures will be published as soon as we find out times and venues.
New Sponsors. The Club are very happy to announce two new sponsor on board with us, The Scarna Inn are now the sponsors of one of our Adult Doubles Competition taking over from our previous long serving partner in the Highhouse, we are also delighted that The Emyvale & Districit Credit Union are now the sponsors of all our juvenile competitions within the club, again thank you to our new and all existing sponsors for their new and continued support.
Emyvale Credit Union Juvenile Team League. Our Juvenile League has about 3 rounds of games remaining so keep all games played up to date, and try to get any outstanding games get them played ASAP.
Mono League. The Mono League has reached the semi-final stage now and those in the semi’s will be notified as soon as all is sorted.
Adults Singles & Doubles. We will soon be drawing up the adults singles & doubles for commencing shortly, so anyone thinking of playing that maybe didn’t play in the team league are more than welcome to come and play.
