Next week’s jackpot is for €1500 and draw will take place in the club rooms on Monday evening. You can do the lotto via the usual outlets and online at www.magheracloonemitchells.ie
Congratulations to our four representatives on the County minor panel on defeating Down last Sunday. Well done Jack Doogan, Ryan Farrelly, Ryan McNulty and Ronan McKeown. Keep up the good work lads.
Also congratulations to Gavin and the Monaghan panel on overcoming Tyrone in the first round of the Ulster SFC. The semi final takes place on June 3rd in Omagh at 2pm. Ticket details to be confirmed.
Our seniors suffered another defeat to Scotstown last Friday evening.
The U15’s played Monaghan Harps in Round 6 of the U15 Div 1 league last Thursday in Magheracloone. Our lads got off to a very slow start and found themselves 3:03 to 1:01 down after twelve minutes. After a few positional changes the lads started to gel. Our midfielders and forwards started to run at the Harps defence and at half time we were back to within one point despite having hit the bar and the post in a fifteen minute purple patch. The 2nd half started a lot better for the young Mitchell’s who’s work rate on and off the ball was a delight to watch. Despite a late rally from the Harps our lads ran out victorious on a score line if 5:13 to 3:14. We play Carrick in Carrick this Thursday at 6:45pm. Please note earlier time.
Training as normal for the U13’s this week. We play Aghabog at home this Saturday at 2pm. Players to be at pitch 1:20pm. Best of luck!
The first round of the Championship is away to Donaghmoyne on Wednesday 30th at 7:15pm. All support welcome for both of these games.
The U9’s will train on Thursday evening from 7pm to 8pm in preparation for the All County blitz on Saturday morning from 9:30am to 11:30am.
Training on Wednesday evening from 7pm to 8pm. We have a Blitz this Saturday in Cloghan from 12-2 pm. More details to follow.

She recently discovered Patsy has a brother and sister who would love to meet all of you. Contact Kathleen on 087 2408724 or caithtuite@gmail.com.
Ladies’ Club Notes
Our senior Ladies were away to Corduff on Sunday last. The game got off to a great start. At the half way mark, we were up 4:04 to 2:08.
Corduff fought back at the beginning of the second half with the sides going level, then Corduff went five points up. Magheracloone dug deep, played great football, coupled with some Fantastic scores. Final score 5:09 to 3:14.
Well done girls and management on a super performance.
Training continues this week on Tuesday and Thursday 8-9pm
Hard luck to our U16’s who lost out to Killeevan last Monday night on a scoreline of 2:10 to 2:03.
There will be no U16 fixtures for a few weeks due to exams. Next up is a home fixture against Latton on Monday 18th June.
The U14’s are away to Truagh on Monday 28th May at 7pm.
