DR WARD CUP: We recorded a morale boosting victory in Newbliss last Saturday night defeating Killeevan 6-05 to 0-14. Four goals two either side of half time were the match winning scores in a game which was much closer than the score line suggests. A late goal by Jason Mc Donald aided by a fine cross field pass by Chris Mc Geough helped seal the game in the closing minutes. Our next game in the league is home to Toome on the 22nd June. JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP: We play Aghabog in Drumhowan this Saturday at 6pm. Little has separated the sides in league and championship in recent seasons and Saturday night will undoubtedly be no different. Good luck to team and management. RACE NITE: Our Race nite takes place on Saturday 14th June at 9pm, horses on sale at £10, race sponsorships available for £100 and £50, the response from business and club supporters has as usual been very positive with a number of races full already contact committee if interested in sponsoring the event. u-12 s: Lost to Doohamlet in the Blackhill sports on Monday last by four points, we have been grouped in division 2B of the u-12 summer competition which commences soon. GOOD LUCK: To Popular local lad Niall Daly who represents the club in the Drumhowan fundraiser the cube on Saturday 14th June in the Glencarn. Niall will compete for the 1st prize of £5000. SUMMER EVENTS: A date for our annual sports day and recreational tournament will be set soon, watch this space for more details. HOSTS: We will a game between Castleblayney Camogie and a Kerry club on Friday the 20th June and a social event in the hall over the weekend as always we are delighted to make our facilities available to all gaa activities and related functions. JUVENILE DRAW: Tickets are been sold for a draw for two Gareth Brooks tickets in the club, ticket available in the club.

JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP: We play Aghabog in Drumhowan in the 1st round of the junior championship Saturday 7th June at 6pm. U-16 LEAGUE: Finished their first round of league fixtures on a positive note defeating Rockcorry in a high scoring and entertaining encounter, the lads have won three out of five games and our well placed for a semi-final place in July.
