Intermediate Championship

We travelled to Blackhill last Saturday afternoon for the round 1B back-door clash with Cremartin where a much-improved performance saw us earn an impressive 2-16 to 2-08 victory on the day………match report in GAA pages…….

We are now through to the Q/F where we will play Monaghan Harps in Castleblayney next Saturday week 7th September at 6.30pm

Intermediate League

We travel to Sean McDermotts this Saturday evening 31st August for a 6.00pm

U-17 Championship

Goals win games and unfortunately, we conceded five of them against Carrickmacross last Tuesday in the first round of the Championship……final score Killanny 1-13 Carrickmacross 5-08. We have a bye this week but will travel to Latton in round 3 on Tuesday 3rd Sept.

U-15’s

We were defeated by a strong Castleblayney team last Thursday evening 7-11 to 1-09 however still qualified for the semi-final where we will play Cremartin away on Thursday 5th September

Caretaker Wanted

Inniskeen West Louth Development have a vacancy for a Caretaker in Killanny GFC. This is a DSP Community Employment Programme and eligibility conditions apply.

Flag Day

Thanks to all the great people of Killanny, Carrick and surrounding area who supported us on our flag day in Carrickmacross last Saturday. Everyone is very generous in their ongoing support of our club and all contributions are very gratefully appreciated. The costs to the club are referees, facilities, equipment and association costs. All work and time is voluntary. Thanks to these mentors as the benefit to our young people is immeasurable. Thanks also to the players, parents & members who gave their time to help collect for the club. It is really appreciated

U-16 Championship Semi-Final

Best of luck to our U-16 Girls who play Castleblayney in the Championship Semi-Final in Killanny at 7pm on Tuesday. Come out and show your support for the girls

The OsKaRs

Killanny GAA proudly presents ‘a night at the OsKaRs’ in aid of our second pitch development plan. We are currently looking for budding actors & actresses to take part in the show which promises to be a great night for all involved. No previous acting experience necessary, starter acting lessons will be provided.
