Property Marking Scheme: Gaeil Triucha will have Monaghan County Council’s Property Marking Machine on loan for two weeks, beginning Monday 25th February 2019. The Property Marking Scheme is an innovative venture which aims to make Co Monaghan a less attractive target to thieves. The Telesis dot peen machine works by stamping your EIRCODE into the item to be marked using a pattern of dots and can be taken out around farm yards to mark machinery, private premises, businesses etc. If interested, please contact Bronagh on 087 674 9872 to book a time slot or email firstname.lastname@example.org

Congratulations to our Leiriu Group who were successful in the Monaghan Senior Scor Finals last weekend. They go on to now represent Monaghan in the Ulster Semi-Finals.
Juvenile Ulster Finals. All roads lead to Kingscourt this weekend as we have 6 and possibly 8 club members representing the county in the Juvenile Ulster Finals, Donnacha Mc Cluskey is in the U12 boys Singles Final, Fiona Flood & Aoibhinn Mc Cluskey are in the Girls U14 Doubles Final, Eythna Boyle & Sarah Lavery are in the Girls U16 Doubles Final, Dermot Boyle is in the U21 Singles Final and we are still awaiting the re-arranged U17 Doubles Semi-Final of Ronan Boyle & Ryan Harnet against Down opposition, good luck to all taking part and to all the young Farney Juveniles going out to represent the county, lets hope for a weekend of Silverware!!.
Cumann na mBunscol. Well done to Myles Mc Meel & Ryan Kelly from Deravoy NS who came 2nd in Ulster in the U11 Boys Doubles Section last week in Belfast, hopefully this experience will give them the taste and confidence to go forward and win in the very near future.
Adult County Championships. Good luck to Emmet O Neill who played Mathew Sweeney from The Harps Novice “B” in Carrickmacross Monday night past (18th February), I made a mistake in last weeks report of the Novice “A” competition, we were guaranteed a finalist not a winner, but we now have found out our finalist in Kevin Treanor as he defeated Darrin O Reilly last Friday night in the semi-final, in the final Kevin faces Michael Hanratty from Corduff, good luck to all our club men in their finals, still waiting a result from Fergal O Neill’s semi-final in the Junior section.
Adult Club Singles. The Gola Woodworks final has now reached it final stage as Karl Mc Meel takes on Niall Rooney, and in the SilverHill we are still at the semi-final stage, i made an error in reporting last weeks finalists, they first semi is a repeat of last years final where Christopher Mc Kenna (PJ) takes on Christopher Mc Kenna (D) and Fergal O Neill is pitted against Darrin O Reilly in the other semi, good luck to all, we are hoping to have both finals on the one night over the next few weekends to accommodate all players.
Registration Fee. Can all players please ensure that they have paid their membership in full as you insurance runs out at the end of January and you will be “uninsured” from then onwards.
