Juvenile Ulster Championships
This weekend our juvenile county representatives go into battle in Ulster Championships, we have numerous players both in boys & girls from the club pulling on the White & Blue. In the U12 boys Singles Donnacha McCluskey will be presenting the county where he will play Charlie McCormack from Cavan in Carrickmore on Sunday at 1pm, also in Carrickmore @ 2:30pm Ronan Boyle & Ryan Harnet will fly the White and blue as they play a Down pairing of White & Fegan in the U17 Doubles, then over to Loughmacrory where John Treanor & Peter Treanor will play McKenna & McCrystal from Cavan in the U14 boys Doubles @ 1:30, then finally our last representatives of the day are the U15 boys doubles where Jake McGeough and Mark Deery will play Smith & Flynn also from Cavan in Breacach @ 2:30. Good luck to all taking part at the weekend.

We hopefully will have as many boys as possible joining the girls on the finals weekend in Kingscourt on Saturday the 23rd. Aoibhinn McCluskey and Fiona Flood are straight in the girls U14 Ulster Doubles final as is to Sarah Lavery and Eythna Boyle in the girls U16 Ulster Doubles final where both sets will be facing Down opposition, names TBC. Good luck to all our county reps. Up the Farney!!!

Adult Club Singles
The Club Adult singles are almost down at semi-final stages, there are a few games to finished so please ensure all outstanding games are played this weekend, the doubles will follow shortly.

Registration Fee
Can all players please ensure that they have paid their membership in full as you insurance runs out at the end of January and you will be “uninsured” from then onwards.

Corduff GAA Handball Notes

Juvenile Training
Juvenile training continues to grow strong with over thirty juveniles training in five groups from 8-16 years old on Wednesdays at 7-8:30pm and Fridays at 7-9pm. Parents will be informed of their child’s group or any changes to times by text message each week. Juvenile membership is €10 and €2 per training session.

Group League
Our group league is into it’s fifth week with 77 players from beginner to senior level taking part from Bawn, Carrickmacross, Kingscourt and Monaghan Harps Handball Clubs. Over 30 games will take place weekly until the end of March in the group league at Corduff and Bawn Handball alleys

Novice B County Blitz
There will be no GAA League run this year, instead there will be a County Biltz run for each group (Senior, Intermediate, Junior, Novice A and Novice B). The Novice B Blitz will be held in Corduff Handball Club. Contact Aidan Marron 0879972389  for registration.

Renovations Opening Day

Our renovations opening day was held on Friday the 1st of Febuary at 7:30pm. Thank you to everyone who turned up for a great evening and thank you to GAA Handball president Joe Masterson for officially opening our newly renovated alley. Thank you to Máirtín Ó Maoilchiaráin and Diarmaid Nash for 3 very exciting games of handball which were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

Ulster Championship
Well done to James Gavaghan who has reached the junior A Ulster Championship semi final.
Well done to Ciarán Brennan who is through to the semi finals in the junior B Ulster Championships. Well done to Aidan Marron who is through to the Quarter finals in the junior B Ulster Championships.

All-Star Awards night 
A great night was had at GAA Handball all star awards in Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa last Saturday with Aidan Marron awarded club Person of the year. Congratulations to Aidan on a thoroughly deserved win and thank you to everyone who voted.
