PLATINUM TANKS RESERVE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP CRAWLEY CUP FINAL.
Doohamlet had a core of more experienced players on their team and that was a telling factor in the outcome of this entertaining if never spectacular Crawley Cup final that was played in excellent conditions in Blackhill on Sunday evening last. Doohamlet led from start to finish with goals playing a crucial part in their victory, registering 2 in the 1st half and adding a 3rd entering the final quarter, to leave no way back for a Corduff side who lacked nothing in endeavour but were not able to finish off a lot of good approach work and Doohamlet’s superior finishing power repeatedly punished them on counter attacks. Doohamlet led by 2-4 to 1-2 at half-time and they had extended that out to a 9 points lead by the end of the 3rd quarter before their 3rd goal effectively wrapped it up.
