Shoe City Senior Football League leaders Carrickmacross host Latton on Saturday, with nearest challengers Scotstown up against Castleblayney. The other fixtures are Clontibret v Ballybay; Magheracloone v Inniskeen; and Monaghan Harps v Truagh.

 

Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League table-toppers Doohamlet meet Donaghmoyne on Saturday, with the next two teams, Seán McDermotts and Killanny, facing Aughnamullen and Tyholland, respectively. Elsewhere, Toome travel to Currin and Blackhill take on Corduff.

 

There is a north-Monaghan derby between Truagh and Emyvale in the Eurotech Junior Football League on Friday, while Saturday’s fixtures are Aghabog v Drumhowan; Corduff v Cremartin; Oram v Rockcorry; and Scotstown v Éire Óg. Wednesday’s games see Drumhowan and Truagh host Rockcorry and Killeevan, respectively.

 

There are a few Platinum Tanks Reserve Football League games on Wednesday: namely Blackhill v Carrickmacross in Division 2A; Clones v Monaghan Harps in Division 2B; and Currin v Seán McDermotts in Division Three.

 

The Silver Hill Farm Development Hurling League Final is scheduled for next Thursday (June 21). At county U-17 level, the Celtic Challenge reaches the knock-out stage this Saturday, with Monaghan contesting the Corn Michael Feery (Division Five) quarter-final against Sligo in Carrick-on-Shannon.

 

The juvenile competitions also continue this week, with the U-15 leagues resuming after the exam break, U-13 Football Championship action on the agenda and a couple of games also down for decision in the new U-11 Football Liam Stirrat Development League.
