C’Blayney, Harps and Clontibret Go to John West Féile na Gael

Monaghan GAA would like to wish Castleblayney Hurling. Monaghan Harps Hurling and Clontibret the best of luck in this weekend’s John West Feile na Gael  National Finals. Also good luck to Castleblayney Camógie.

Castleblayney Hurling

Castleblayney Hurling Club is being hosted by Athleague Tremane in Co Roscommon in Division 7 of Féile na nGael 2018. Travelling to Tremane pitch initially, the first fixture is at 5.45 against Roscommon Gaels, and the next at 7.15 against Ennistymon of Clare. Saturday morning is traditionally the fixture against the host team and this will be played on the Athleague pitch at 10.45. The afternoon will involve travel to the Connacht GAA Centre, where all Quarter finals are fixed for 3.30. Mentored by Kevin Moloney, Patrick McArdle & Eddie Heavin, the team is a well balanced mix of seasoned Féile players and new faces. For some of the panel it is their third Féile experience, having represented their Club in Waterford and Wexford previously, whilst for others it is their first run out in the Pixies jersey in a national competition. However, all will wear the green and gold with pride, representing their Club and in turn, their County, in what has become a regular fixture on the Castleblayney Hurling Club juvenile calendar. The team and mentors wish the other Co.Monaghan representatives, Clontibret O’Neills and Monaghan Harps success in their divisions also. Beir Bua!
