Monaghan GAA Coaching & Games have been busy working with clubs throughout the county over the past number of months.

The most recent initiative that has been implemented throughout the county has been the delivery of ‘Coaching the Coaches’ Workshops. These workshops were delivered to assist coaches working with teams in their clubs, and give them resources which can help them going forward.

Oram, Killanny, Corduff, Castleblayney & Clones have all hosted one of these workshops. We have had good attendances from clubs also with Castleblayney Faughs, Castleblayney Hurling Club, Killanny, Magheracloone, Carrick Emmetts, Carrick Emmetts Hurling Club, Inniskeen, Corduff, Currin, Clones, Tyholland, Donaghmoyne, Eire Og and Blackhill all represented at these workshops so far.

We would like to thank in particular the clubs who have hosted these workshops, and for making their facilities available to us.

We still have a number of initiatives planned for the coming months relating to our Club Development Programme including:

• Coach Mentoring Programme
• Skills Coaching Workshop
• Delivering a Club Coaching Session in Cloghan
• Delivering a Primary School/Club Link Initiative
