A brace of goals from Colin Clerkin and another from Micheál Bannigan made the difference for Aughnamullen. Aughnamullen could afford to kick eight first-half wides and still only trail once across the hour against a Doohamlet side over-reliant on Barry McBennett for scores. Aughnamullen will play Tyholland in Round 2A.
