On Saturday past Monaghan Coaching & Games Development delivered  an All County U8 Go Games Blitz in Clones. In total we had 21 clubs, consisting of  over 40 teams with over 350 boys and girls participating. The blitz ran in two slots, from  9:30 – 11:30 & 12 – 2. . We were fortunate with good weather and helped make for some entertaining  football by all teams. This as always is a great chance for these young kids to get a run out on the hallowed turf of St Tiarnach’s Park where they see their county heroes play every summer. Big thanks to all the clubs for turning out for the Go Games and making it a success. Also a big thanks to Dermot McArdle @ GR8 for sponsoring our Go Games this year. A big thank you to the clubs for their continued support of the Go Games programme. We appreciate the time and commitment that is involved in working with teams at this age group.

Big thanks to Tom McCabe who had St Tiarnachs Park looking immaculate as usual. Also to the young whistlers who officiated on the day, and those who helped out officiating on the day. Each team played at least 3 games with each game lasting 21 minutes with 3 periods of 7 mins.
