Truagh Ladies welcome Galtee Rovers/St. Pecaun’s who will be playing in Division 2

Club History*: Ladies football started in Galtee Rovers/ St Pecaun’s in 2004 with under age teams. In 2009 a formal committee was set up. The club has had many successes since its formation and has gone from strength to strength over the years. The club has over 100 girls registered to play from Bansha and surrounding parishes. Home for the club is in Canon Hayes Park with panoramic views of the Galtee Mountains in the village of Bansha. 
The club’s first major win came in 2007 winning the County U14 title. Many titles have followed since from u12 to Intermediate grades. They are very proud of the many girls on inter county teams representing Tipperary.
