Latton GAA Club Club Notes – Week Beginning 19th June 2017

Lotto Results.

The Numbers Lotto Draw held on 19th June 2017 were 22-7-9-11 Bonus 21. There was no Jackpot winner and the €20 winners were Kathleen Maguire,Latton,Emma Lynch,Cootehill,Ita Mc Skean,Ballybay,Paul Fitzpatrick,Ballybay,Tom Sullivan , Latton.

U12’s Our U12 had a Game on 20th June @ 7.30 at home v Sean Mc Dermott’s-See Social media for Results. U14’S Our U14 feile team had a brilliant win in the League against Scotstown last Saturday . We wish you all the best in your games this weekend.

Feile Competitions 23rd -25th June 2017

John West Feile Peil Na nOg 2017 – Latton O’Rahilly GAA will this weekend welcome from Dublin (U14 boys), Clontarf G.A.A. Club and from the U.S.A. (U14 girls), San Francisco G.A.A. for the finals of the 2017 John West Feile Peil Na nOg, with over 5,000 participants being hosted by clubs across Counties Monaghan, Cavan and Fermanagh. Latton boys are in division 2 for the competition with first games commencing in Cremartin on tomorrow Friday 23rd at 5pm, followed by a reception for the Clontarf and San Francisco visitors in the O’Rahilly G.A.A. Centre at 8.30 with refresments and traditional music. On Saturday Latton boys and girls have home games in the morning , with the girls game at 10.00 and the boys game at 11.00. In the afternoon games are in Cremartin/Cloghan depending on how we are progressing in the competition at 15.00. In the evening we will be back in G.A.A. centre to watch the Monaghan V Down game LIVE followed by a disco for the U14 teams from 9pm. Disco is for Feile age group 11year old upwards. Everyone is invited to attend all games and events in the G.A.A Centre, a marvellous exhibition of Gaelic Games and activities in Latton.

CENTENARY TIES-A limited number of specially Centenary Crest Engraved Ties

have been commissioned by the Club and are available in the O’Rahilly G.A.A. Centre.Numbers are limited as these are Souvenir items.

GAA Memrobelia From the PAST 100 Years.

As the Club continues the celebrations of their Centenary work continues on the Museum of GAA archival and historical materilas, anyone with Photographs, newspaper articles or any material connected to Gaelic activities are requested to bring them to GAA Centre on any Monday between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm where the materials will be scanned immediately and returned. If you know of any materials relating to Football,hurling,camogie,ladies football,handball.scor etc.. please contact Patrick Hamilton on 086-2686619 or Seamus Coyle on 087-6814067 or call to centre as above.

Monaghan Ladies

Well done to Shauna Coyle and the Monaghan Ladies who defeated the Cavan Ladies last weekend in Ulster Semi Final and now play Donegal in the Final on 2nd July 2017.

We wish the U14 Girls a very enjoyable and successful weekend as they host the San Francisco Girls in the Feile Competitions this weekend.
