Babtha Leath Cheannais Scór na nÓg Uladh 2017 in Cill Sleibhe  Co. Ard Mhacha

The first semi-final of the Ulster Scór na n Óg competition was held in a packed Killeavey GAA Clubhouse on Saturday evening with competitors from Monaghan, Antrim, Fermanagh and Armagh taking part.

The standard was very high in all seven competitions with Drumhowan – qualifying for the Ulster Final in two of the competitions – Rince Seit and Ceol Uirlise. Also through to represent Monaghan in the Ulster Final are The Gaeil Triúcha Léiriú Group. Congratulations to all and best wishes in the Ulster Final in Gallbhaile Co Tír Eoghain on Saturday 14^th January. Commiserations to the other Monaghan competitors, Monaghan Harps Rince Foirne group, Gael Triúcha Ballad Group,  Niall Grogan in Recitation and Katie Boyle from Aghabog who were unsuccessful on the night but performed to a very high standard in very stiff competitions.
