Sympathy: It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of John McPhillips last week. John or ‘Myles’ as he was better known was a great supporter of our club down through the years and could regularly be found on the sideline in Aghabog on match days. There was a guard of honour from the club as Myles made his final journey to St Mary’s Church, Aghabog last Saturday. He was a great character and he will be affectionately remembered by all our club members. We extend our sincere sympathy to Maggie, Tom, Seanie, Margaret, Pat and to all of John’s family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
