This week’s fixture schedule is dominated by games in the Platinum Tanks Reserve Football Championships and Leagues.

 

The O’Duffy Cup quarter-finals are spread over the weekend: Monaghan Harps v Ballybay on Friday, holders Magheracloone v Latton on Saturday and Donaghmoyne v Castleblayney on Sunday. The Crawley Cup semi-finals are down for decision on Saturday, with Tyholland and Blackhill at home to Seán McDermotts and Drumhowan respectively, while the McKeown Cup quarter-finals are Éire Óg v Clones on Saturday, Oram v Killanny and Inniskeen v Aghabog on Sunday and Truagh v Carrickmacross on Monday.

There is also one RFL Division 1B game between Cremartin and Aughnamullen on Saturday, followed by full rounds on Wednesday. Scotstown, Latton and Monaghan Harps host Magheracloone, Truagh and Clontibret respectively in Division 1A, while the Division 1B fixtures are Ballybay v Emyvale and a repeat of the O’Duffy Cup game clash of Donaghmoyne and Castleblayney. In Division Two, it’s Tyholland v Doohamlet, Drumhowan v Rockcorry and Seán McDermotts v Blackhill, with the Division Three fixtures seeing Clones, Éire Óg and Carrickmacross host Killanny, Aghabog and Inniskeen.

 

Round two of the Silver Hill Foods Senior Hurling League takes place on Thursday evening, with Castleblayney, Monaghan Harps and Clontibret having home advantage against Carrickmacross, Inniskeen and Craobh Rua respectively.

 

It’s a busy weekend of juvenile games, with action in the Gerry’s Prepared Veg. Under-16, Under-14 and Under-12 Football Leagues and the Silver Hill Foods Under-14 Hurling League.

 

Meanwhile, Wednesday night sees Monaghan’s U-17 hurlers continue their Celtic Challenge campaign with a game against Leitrim at a venue yet to be announced.
