Juveniles: Training for all juvenile age groups continues every Sunday at 12pm in Rooskey.

U-14s: The U-14s followed up last week’s excellent win over Cootehill with another team performance and fine victory at home to Lisbellaw on Monday evening on a 6-5 to 1-3 scoreline. Six players got on the scoresheet for Jim Dalton’s charges, with Luke Aughey finishing top scorer with an impressive 2-1. Among many good displays were those of Nicholas Sherlock, Darragh Murray and Fintan Keogh. Well done to the squad and Jim. The Harps now sit in fourth place with one previously postponed group fixture against Carrick remaining.

Squad and scorers: Seán Callan, Mark McManus, Paul Maguire, Jack McDonald, Che Treanor, Kasper Ostrowski (0-1), Nicholas Sherlock, Tristan Moyna (1-0), Darragh Murray, Liam Conway, Evan Meighan (2-0), Fintan Keogh, Oisín Murray (1-0), Oisín Connolly, Aidan McKenna (0-3), Seán Treanor, Luke Aughey (2-1).

Monaghan U-17 Squad: A number of Harps players represented their county last Wednesday when they took on Cavan in the Celtic Challenge. Monaghan made up for their loss to Longford in their previous outing with a 2-11 to 0-15 victory. Dylan McAree, Aidan Burns and Anthony Greenan were involved and Aidan was voted Man of the Match. Well done to the lads and to their manager, Alan Ryan. Monaghan face Leitrim in Cootehill tomorrow evening (Wednesday).

Senior: A frustrating evening ended in a three-point defeat at home last Thursday evening in the Silver Hill Foods Development League. The Truagh goals lived a charmed life throughout with two attempts from Alan Ryan hitting the woodwork as well as a couple of goal-line clearances by the away team. The first half was a close affair with an early Conor McKenna goal and five scores from Conor Boyle proving enough to keep Truagh one point up at the interval. Six Harps players accounted for ten first-half points with Ray Lee, Frank Burke and Ciarán Cassidy converting some fine scores. The Harps had the better of the opening minutes of the second half with an Alan Ryan point and a fine individual goal by Ciaran Cassidy pushing us into the lead, but Truagh responded and a goal worked from a quick puck-out helped them regain their lead. The Harps’ effort persisted, however, and some excellent scoring from range off the sticks of Cathal Power and Conor Flynn kept the lads in touch. However, a third Truagh goal in the 45th minute proved too much of a lead to haul in and the match finished at 1-18 to 3-15. Plenty of positives can be taken from a battling performance, with some great hurling on show and fine displays from a number of our up and coming minors. That draws a close to the Development League for our seniors, who next face Inniskeen in the Senior League this Thursday at 8pm in Rooskey.

Team and scorers: Éanna Finlay; Conor Duffy, Robbie Healy, Dylan McAree; Paul Lee, Adrian Dalton, Tiarnán Bramley; Cathal Power (0-5), Ray Lee (0-1); Conor Flynn (0-4), Maurice McKenna, Ciarán Cassidy (1-3); Conor O’Neill, Alan Ryan (0-4), Frank Burke (0-1).

Subs: Michael Gissane for O’Neill.
