On Wednesday 17th February, Castleblayney Camogie Club celebrated the end of another camogie year by hosting its juvenile presentation night in Blackhill Social Centre. Presentations were made on the night to the players.
Chairperson of the senior Club, Siobhan Kelly, extended a warm welcome to the parents and players who were there on the night. She went on to thank all the coaches who gave of their time during the year, the players who trained and played all season and their parents who also played their part in what was a great year for the club. There was plenty of silverware on display as the club had a very successful year in 2015 in all playing levels. Monaghan Camogie Player of the Year, Amber Lam, took along her award which added to the occasion.
The Juveniles had a very successful year and medals were presented by Amber to the U-13, U-14, U-15 and U-16s for their success in the Armagh and Louth Leagues. Photos have been uploaded to the clubs facebook page.
A great night was had by all and the Club would like to thank Blackhill Social Centre for their facilities, Monaghan Camogie Player of the Year Amber Lam for presenting the medals, thank you to our sponsors; Shortts butchers, the Royal Jade and Campbells for the refreshments, Mc Elroy trophies and Gary Keenan for the music. Thank you to our Club Committee for organizing the night and for their outstanding hard work, to the parents for their continued support and to all whom in any way, shape or form helped our club during the year your efforts are very much appreciated.
