The Universal Graphics Junior Football Championship Final will have to go to a replay after Blackhill and Rockcorry played out a tense draw in Clontibret on Sunday. Mark McGuirk kicked four points to help Rock lead by 0-6 to 0-4 at half-time, but after Blackhill, who had earlier failed to convert a couple of goal chances, finally found the net through Ciarán Courtney, they led for much of the second half. Andrew Burns came off the bench to kick three points for Blackhill, who also had Man of the Match Anthony Courtney among their scorers, but the accurate free-taking of McGuirk and Fergal McGeough kept Rock in touch and a late point by Noel Carroll levelled it up.

The replay will take place on Saturday, October 10 at 4pm at the same venue.
