Monaghan Coaching & Games organised an U8/ U10 Go-Games hurling blitz which took place last Wednesday(17th June) in Cloghan.

The blitz went very well with over 170 children taking part.There was  17 teams from  6 clubs with each team getting 5 games each.

The clubs which took part in blitz were: Carrickmacross,Castleblayney,Clontibret,East Cavan Gaels,Mullaghbawn and Clontibret camogie.

The next blitz takes place on Wednesday the 22nd of July, once again in Cloghan.

On the night Monaghan GAA with the help of our Hurling Development Officer Aidan Kelly organised a POC FADA competition. There was four different categories: U16 boys and girls and senior mens and senior ladies.

The winners of the four categories are as follows.

Camogie u16 : Eileen Cullen
Camogie senior : Amber Lam
Hurling U16 : Patrick Bermingham
Hurling senior : Louran Murphy
