The Ulster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association sponsors this course. The course takes place on the beautiful Ros Goill Peninsula in Donegal, and Comhairle Uladh provides a wide variety of facilities, and services free of charge to participating members. Do not miss this opportunity to enhance your knowledge and appreciation of our heritage.

 

The course caters strictly for adult learners over the age of 16.

 

There are three categories of participant:

(a) Fluent Irish speakers;

(b) Improvers or those with a little Irish;

(c) Beginners or those with little or no knowledge of the language.

 

Every effort is made to ensure that the course is both pleasant and inclusive. This is achieved by having classes for three levels of fluency in the language, by refined preparation for certain events, and by strategic translation and summarisation techniques together with the wholehearted participation of the course members in the delivery of the programme.
