Monaghan Coaching & Games held a very successful 1^st year football Super Touch Blitz on Tuesday the 15^th of September in Cloghan.It was great to see all the eligible Secondary Schools in the county taking part in the blitz. For all the players, this was more than likely the 1^st time they were representing their schools on the football field and they done so with great commitment and skill. In total there was over 230 players taking part. All the players were divided into 23 teams with each team completing a minimum of three games lasting 16 minutes each.

We would like to thank all the schools for coming to the blitz and all the teachers for helping out in mentoring/ managing the teams on the day. Also we would like to thank all the Transition Year students who came out and refereed the games.

The senior 7-a-side blitz which was scheduled for this Thursday has been re-scheduled for next Monday the 22^nd of September due a clash with a number of club minor finals within the county.
